Fabian Rivers - Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno in 2018. I spent much of my final year rotations in small animals and exotics at Amicus and I was fortunate enough to be welcomed to the team the same year. Having a history in exotics, from working with African Penguins in Cape Town, South Africa for 8 weeks to presenting case studies on tortoises at university level, the fit at Amicus has been very organic.

I write in my spare time and have written pieces for London Vet Show, BSAVA, Worldwide Veterinary Service, VetsNow amongst others and often go by the name ‘Dready Vet’. I am now also a member of the British Veterinary Association Council. In my spare time, I read a lot of philosophy/classics as well as keeping up with general affairs. My main hobby is photography and also enjoy a wide variety of art/culture.
